Its coming into winter here and my heat Pad isnt keeping the temps up where it should do.
It is controlled by a thermostat that ranges from 87.8-93.2 *F
The ambient air temp in my house is only hovering at 60*F during the day and at night getting down to well below 45*F
is it ok to hang a ceramic heat bulb like this

just to heat the ambient heat temp in the gecko tank to let the heat pad do its thing and heat the floor?
have the option to plug the heat lamp into the thermostat
or do i need to get a bigger stronger heat pad?
current heat pad is a Reptile One 28 x 28cm - 14w
