Heat Racks

I'm eventually going to get into the hobby of breeding leos, I was wondering, what makes a good heat rack? how do you keep it heated? how big should it be?

I thought I had myself under the breeding sub forum when I clicked back over to the forums here, if a mod would be so kind to move it for me please.

A lot of people use flexwatt heat tape but my father made a rack a few years ago with some "gutter heating wire" (I forget what its really called?) and it worked extremely well but for a lot less then flexwatt. I'll have to ask my dad what it was called again, I just know it was a wire that its supossed to be used to heat gutters so they doesn't freeze in winter.

www.animalplastics.com is one company I've used in the past and found very helpful and a good product.
