so i plan on getting a 2 shelf rack.. top shelf will be with a tank for a bearded dragon... bottom shelf will be for 2 leopard geckos in a 15 qt sterilite sweater box container.. my question is.. do i get the 3" heat tape? or the 4" heat tape? or does it matter?

thanks...

im thinking of getting it from reptile basics.com as well, and any advice on a thermostat for the heat tape? thanks!

I assume the heat tape is only for the tubs so 3" or 4" will work fine I use 3" on my 15qt tub rack and 4" on my 28qt rack. As far as thermostats, I prefer a proportional thermostat like a herpstat because its not just an on/off stat and keeps a much more even temp but the on/off style work pretty good too and cost less.

ya im looking to be as cost effective as possible, so i was thinking an on/off one.. Do you happen to know of a reptuable "on/off" thermostat that is legit?

and i plan on getting 15 qt tubs, so then i should just go with the 3"
