Okay guys, here's my situation. The hot side of my 24"long, 12"deep, 12"high is currently int he 90-92 degree range. But the cold side remains at about 75. What can i do to give the cool side just a little more heat without taking from the warm side?

It has gone up though. Now the hot side is close to 100, the middle is about 93, and the cool side is 80. The light is a 75 watt. Should i lower it to a 50 or what?

get a UTH and a thermostat and not use a light for heat, just for light if you need it, MUCH MUCH easier, it will only cost around $35-$40.

a thermostat is definitely the safe way to go, but I think one can survive without it. The standard UTH surface temp is like 115 degrees or something. It generally wont heat substrate to the point that it can burn your gecko.

You can, however, never be too safe!
