heating a wooden cage...

I was considering making a wooden cage for my leopards, but i was wondering how i would heat the floor? all heat pads ive seen say to only use on glass aquariums...

you might contact Greg Maxwell (finegtps.com) or Rica Walder (signalherp.com) about the use of radiant heat panels. Greg is a carpenter and makes his own wooden cages for his green tree pythons. He uses radiant heat panels on them and I'm sure he'd be able to help you out on addressing this heating issue for a terrestrial species, such as the leos we keep, versus how he uses the heat panels...for an arboreal snake.
