hello im abraham and im new here and new to geckos well today i got my first leopard gecko, my friend was gettin rid of it and they gave it to me since ive been wanting to get one, so i got it vut they didnt had any heat mat thingy or light for it so i went to the store and ot a light fixture wit the ceramic cap and got a ceramic bulb, i have also got a uth rated for a 10-20 gal since the tank its a ten gallons, my question is should i run both at the same time or should i run one during the day and one at night??? i havent opened the UTH since the ceramic bulb keeps the heat temp in oune part at 91.3 f and inside the heat hide 81.7

i was also wondering f i should run the ceramic bulb all day and night or should i turn it off at night and then plug the UTH????

please help me out!!! and thanks for taking your time to read this!!!

All you need is the UTH because geckos need belly heat more so they could digest. The only reason why you would need a ceramic bulb and the UTH at the same time is if the air temps are low like 65 or less.
