Okay, I'm having trouble with heating. The cool side of the tank is about 76.5 degrees, but the hot side is only 80. I only have a UTH. Should I get any special lighting of something to raise the temperature? Or is there a way to increase the power of the UTH?

:worried:
ADDITIONAL STUFF:
1) I have an air temp thermometer, not an electric one.
2) Substrate is ReptiCarpet.
3) The surface feels a lot hotter then the air in the tank. Could this mean something?

Please Respond ASAP, as I'm getting the Geckos SOON. (Like, really soon) -Henry

Get a digital thermometer with a probe asap and check the temp on the FLOOR of the tank not the air half way up it. how soon is like really soon cause the cage needs to be right first? good luck

1) Get a digital thermometer with a probe or a temp. gun.
2) Reptile Carpet is okay but toenails can get stuck on it.

The cool side is perfect but you need the warm side to be at least 88-95 degrees.
