I am having a problem keeping my geckos heat up. I have two different rooms that i keep my reptiles in (both are in my basement) the "back" room has my two bearded dragons, my incubator, and four tanks of geckos in it. The front room has 20 tanks of geckos in it. Now the back room is the one Im having a problem with. despite the fact that there have been a lot more things plugged in in the past I keep blowing the circuit breaker in the room and losing power to all the tanks and the incubator. As you can imagine this is getting really annoying as well as being really bad for the geckos. The only things plugged in in that room now are reptile stuff (their used to be a fridge and a deep freeze but I unplugged both). Does any one else have a problem with supplying enough electricity for their tanks? What do you guys use as a safety feature to help reduce the risk of a fire? If I move all the tanks into the front room I will have to plug EVERYTHING into two different outlets (on two different circuits) and that really scares me. I know that having racks would help the problem but i dont have the means to build them right now and I dont have the money to buy a prebuilt one. Any suggestions?
