I have a healthy leopard gecko in a perfect enclosure with one issue- the heat mat is broken. The temp in there is 20 degrees Celsius (70f) and for extra warmth i have been putting in hot water bottles, hand warmers and paper towels- he seems ok at the moment in his moss hide. He has been without this normal heat for 2 days now as im trying to fix the fuse etc. I'm hopefully getting a new mat tomorrow or tuesday at the latest- do you think he'll be ok till then with this temporary heating and does anyone have any tips to keep him warm? (I considered putting him in a box with foam and paper in a warm part of my house but i'm unsure if this is necessary)
Thanks, all replies would be appreciated
Oh yeah also the heat mat which isnt working is connected to a habistat thermostat- so im not too sure which is the problem.
