Can the Zoo Med Repti-Therm UTH Heater be used in conjunction with the Petco Hi-Range Thermometer for Reptiles and Amphibians? If so, where do I put the thermometer?

i use both one in hide and a combo in the middle.(I have a 2 'story' enclosures ). soo why not both

or you could buy a temp gun and read every inch of every enclosure and not have to screw around with a crapload of thermos and probes...just sayin', temp guns are the way to go in my opinion. they are instant and you can also check your thermostat controller temps with the probes and KNOW the real temps, plus they make fine tuning all of your heating equipt a snap. and you can shoot your water and it will give you the ambient temp of the enclosure. shoot the enclosure walls to get an idea if the whole enclosures ambient temps are the same. plus they are awesome for checking your incubator and egg temps!
