Held my first giant today...

I was at my favorite not-so-local reptile shop while up at school today and they had a giant female leopard gecko marked for $100. She wasn't out, but I just had to see her, so I picked her cave up and I saw the beefiest gecko I'd ever seen! She was so cute! She didn't want to picked up at first, but once I had her, she snuggled into my hand and more or less went back to sleep LOL

I held her while I got my feeders, and she just sat there the whole time like "yeah, whatever. I'm a lizard." So chill and uncaring. She even let me tickle her tummy and back and chin, and I stroked her tail the entire time X3

The girl said she was about a year old. Compared to my one year old Orchid, she's about an inch and half longer, and much, much beefier (probably a time and a half Orchid's weight, at least!). I just love how chunky giants are! Three is my current limit, but once I have the space and more time, a giant (or preferably super giant) is definatly on my list. I'm soooo in love! I told her I was gunna stuff her in my shirt and take her home

The big guys are my favorites. My normal male (well, het tremper) is almost 11 inches long and over 100g and only 2yo. He's just a ham I love him so much. I just picked up a possible giant/super giant female from GekkoGodz (DarkRhyno) and I have my fingers crossed she is! The big ones just melt my heart

I love how big and chunky they are compared to the regular sized ones. They have completely different proportions, it's great! They feel awesome in your hands, too!

11 inches?? Wow! That sounds awesome! Demand pics :3 I just wanted to snuggle that little cutie for the rest of my life at the reptile shop today lol She was about 8 inches? Give or take. I'm no good at eyeballing lol

Lol that's the best I have right now on my phone to show size comparison but I think it does a pretty good job. He's larger than my forearm!

My male leo, Bert, is 11 inches and 121 grams. He is an awesome lizard. I just love him. He is so chill....nothing really bothers him. He is about a year and a half old.

See that's what I want! A big snuggle buddy! Raven and Orchid just like to get out of their tanks and cause trouble, rather than talking to their mommy lol

And honestly, if you really want a snuggle buddy you want a blue tongued skink lizard.

He is so cool! I love those colors! I love how he's just kind of sitting there like "oh, this again. Ok *shrugs*" LOL

Oh I'm so addicted. I've got the two G's covered. Goldfish and geckos LOL Just add some puppies to that and I'm set!
