Helix probe inside container?

Well got yet another helix. Was looking all through to see what it says about the probe and moisture. Cant find anything. I would like to put probe INSIDE the SIM container for exact correct temps. Has anyone done this? Can a helix probe be in a moist container? Or will it ruin it?

i have put a ranco probe inside deli cups with no problems

hummm... not sure if those probes are made same way... Well in any event cut a small hole in a modified SIM lid (sponge on top) probe is snaked through hole into container. Guess we will see
