Helix vs temp

So got myself a helix and hooked it up to my incubator. There is another temp probe in there as well for a second opinion. The helix is set to 83, yet the temp probe is reading an AVERAGE of 81-82 inside incubator. Wondering if i should trust the helix over the random temp probe. After all temp probe = 10 bucks Helix = 130 bucks. Anyone have similar readings using a helix?

I'm not sure if the helix has the same option as the herpstat, but you might be able to get another temp probe and if it's the same, can be adjusted to the temp probes. I've found the digital duel probe temp gauges from Big Apple Help to be pretty accurate.
