So my temps have been very bad lately, I am going to buy a helix thermostat soon. I was wondering if I use a power strip can I connect 3 uths to a helix? Also how hard are helixes to use?

One Helix can control up to 500 watts of heating devices, it won't even break a sweat with three little UTHs. I don't have any hands on experience with them, but I took a look at the manual and they seem pretty easy to set up.

I have a helix. It comes with 3 sockets already. In my experience though, it doesn't do as well with UTHs. They're way colder than they should be. I set my temp to 97 on the helix and it didn't even hit 90 for the UTH. Yet when I plugged the UTH directly into the wall socket, it works just fine. Therefore, I just use my heat cables with the helix.

I also have a Helix. Like Matt said I set my Helix at 97 and the UTH's are about 88-90. I use a power strip to plug more UTH's and Heat Tape into it and it works fine with that. I only use the Helix with my Zoo Med UTH's because the Exo-Terra tend not to get as hot. I also use the Helix with Flexwatt Heat Tape.

Yeah I use a helix as well with heat tape for my rack. I just bought socket multipliers for the three it comes with and it works great. It's all in how you set up your probe that will determine an accurate reading. I taped a piece of plastic down onto the heat tape in between my tubs and then taped the probe to the plastic. But I still have to set mine to 94 or so to get it up to 90 under the heated hide in the tubs. But it works great just make sure to double check the temps inside the enclosure to get the right setting.
