Hello, everyone, I suppose I should introduce myself. I'm Natashya Bay of Stopper Exotics (owned with my, some would say, better half, Kel Stopper). We breed Leopard Geckos, like most of you; and enjoy this very much. We're launching our website very shortly, and will have 2010 babies available in the coming season. If you've got any questions or comments, I'd love to hear them!

It's wild to find so many Leo lovers from Ontario on here, because it's so hard to find good suppliers, with a wider variety of morphs. Who and where do you guys get your leos from?

Also, anyone in and around the Barrie area know of a reputable Vet that is experienced with Leopard Geckos? They are so hard to come by and we're having our first medical issue we've had in years. (Impaction in two enigma yearlings). Any suggestions?

i get my leos from diffrent places i have a local reptile shop right down the street from me as well as i look on kijiji and craigslist also i got to the missisauga expo (which is coming up soon) as well i do rescues of various reptiles from geckos to snakes to tegus and iguanas

When is the next Mississauga Expo? We were just at the last one in November, and the one prior in June(?) I forget when it was.

No, we didn't vend at the last one. I'm very excited to hear that it's in February. We'll definitely be there, although, likely not vending. We've only got breeding groups at this point and no babies until further along in the season.

yeah the expo is soemtime in february, not sure on the exact date. Are you a memebr on reptilescanada? There is a thread there on vets in canada, and also many breeders. Although the people aren't as nice as on here, there are many connections: www.reptilescanada.com

There is also a classifieds section which is good. I have bought from Randy Petruga (randyp is his username here) on several occasions, he's a great guy to deal with. Also Sabrina from the Bearded Gecko is also great (Jandsfannon his her username here).

Thanks for your help Adam, those are great resources, and I'll sign up for an account on ReptilesCanada too, I've wandered around a lot on there; but the atmosphere on here in general seemed a lot more "my style."

I'll have to keep an ear to the ground in regard to the Expo. I can't bare to miss them. Haha.

Favourite morphs? oo thats a tough one, enigmas are amazing but the health issues they seem to have set me off a bit, but i still keep one . Dont know if i really have a favourite, bells are really starting to grow on me aswell

When do you plan on having your website up, Adam? I'm always interested in seeing what people have planned. Ours is also in the works, as my other half and I are quite the graphic design/development team. We currently have 19 geckos living with us, only three of which are males (Kel is completely out-numbered). LoL.

We also have witnessed some very strange behaviour from our Enigmas, we have three currently. Two of which are both impacted right now, and on the bathing/oil/heat regimen; we're desperately hoping that they'll both be ok. One of the two is one of our males, Rocky; he shows the worst behaviour of our three Enigmas thus far, poor little devil.

Not a problem, the site wont be up for a long long time lol, im only 14 so i have other things on my hands aswell. This year only gunna do 2 crosses and there both first-timers so Its not gunna be a big season, the one after this one is gunna be itneresting with the hets and everything, Good fun
