Hey everybody, my name is Joseph and I just got my first leopard gecko yesterday. I was at Repticon Atlanta and went by Stu and Amy Taylors table from Taylors snakes -n- gex and saw this little snow blizzard leopard gecko... It was like love at first sight lol I couldn't stop coming back to the table. And then he let me hold her and I was sold! So needless to say I have a new little friend now :) I'll be able to post pics soon but she had a pretty rough day yesterday and she is new so I'm gonna let her recuperate for a while :) Anyhow I've got her in about a ten gallon tank with black sand (which I think I'm gonna take out) and a relatively small UTH (But I'm gonna get a bigger one). She's got a small hide next to her water in the cool end of her tank and a slightly bigger hide sort of halfway on the heat spot from the UTH. Other than that I've just basically got some shrubbery and I still need to set up a moist hide.

Hey, it's nice to see another Georgia resident around! Kasey (Riyo) and I were at the show too. She went home with a really nice leopard gecko and an adult ball python, and I went home with two female ball pythons. It was a nice show!

Yes it was a nice show! Although my opinion is far from seasoned.. It was the first show I've been to lol But I loved seeing all of the reptiles and exotics under one roof, it was so cool! I have had a red tail boa for about a year now and this is my first gecko but I think I'm hooked :) These little fellas are awesome! Even though she is spending most of her time in one of her hides, I think her personality is going to turn out great :) Today I replaced all of the sand cause she threw up some of it earlier this morning (it was a major hassle cleaning the sand out lol) but now I've got some paper towels down and her temps are about 90 in the warm end and a little less than 80 in the cool side. I know its not a very big deal but her humidity is also around 40% and I've been gut loading her meal worms but she hasn't tried to eat any that I offer yet so I guess I'll just be patient :)
