Hi all, My name is Kim and I am currently owned by 2 leopard geckos. Jack & Jill. They are approx. 5 years old and were a present from my Dad for my 2 oldest sons. They were young when I got them, I had the lady at the pet store tell me they were both females, so I put them in the same enclosure for a bit and low and behold, suddenly there were two eggs. Holy crap was I surprised. The lady at the pet store said to incubate, etc... but they would not hatch(very hard to hatch without proper incubation equipment). Well, ain`t that funny, cause I put them in a green plastic chinese food container with coconut husk bedding, poked holes in the top, left them in the mothers enclosure and sure enough one day when I peeked in on the eggs, there were two little babies looking up at me. Then she laid 2 more eggs, did the same thing but one quickly concaved so I knew it was dead, threw out the egg and the other hatched just like the 2 before. I raised the three babies for about 2 months, ripping legs off little crickets so they could catch them(oy, the things we mothers do)then found them good homes. Jack and Jill have been in separate enclosures ever since, lol. Jack is a norma Leopard Gecko I think, and Jill is either a ghost gecko or a tangerine. I think that`s what someone once told me. I will see if I can post pics. Wish me luck. And it`s nice to meet you all.Oh and I also have 3 boys, 1 labrador retriever, and 2 parrots.
