Officially introducing myself, although I've been hanging around for a few weeks. I become a Leopard Gecko owner the hard way, by taking in a rescue. You can learn more about him here. I've really fallen in love with the species, and I have no idea why I didn't own one sooner!
As for me, I'm a thirty-something living in south-eastern Massachusetts. I have a background in biology, and I'm avid about all forms of wildlife and pets, although my full-time job is in computer software. Besides the rescued gecko, I own a Blue-Tongue Skink, a cat, and a Brittany, also rescues. We share our house with another family member and her cats/dog, so it's a bit of a zoo over at my place. I wouldn't have it any other way...
I just wanted to say that reading the boards has been extremely helpful so far, and when I have posted questions, people have responded with good information and suggestions. Thanks to everyone I've met so far, and I hope to meet more of you as time passes.
