:confused:So I got home today and for some STRANGE reason my Rosie has moved all of the moss around in her humid hide and has MOST of her body buried in the moss? NOW I don't know if this is normal leopard Gecko behavior or not. I am pretty sure that my adult dose NOT do this.( But I cant be sure about this as he has one of those split apart rock humid hides) So is that normal.( mabey she is getting ready to shed) ALSO just a question I am not worried about this because there is plenty uriate ( white part of the poop I know my spelling is off). But I have not seen my baby girl Drink and I am SURE I have read they absorb moisture through there skin. So that being said Even though I am NOT seeing her drink is she still getting the required H2o that she needs from being in her humid hide.( like I said her poop and uraite looks great nice and solid poops and a good amount of white uraite (please someone correct my spelling on this and set me straight :p) OH yeah incase any one forgot. Rosie is almost six month old leopard gecko. Bought from a breeder at a convention Cant give you a weight or length I need to get a scale and tailors measuring tape. Thanks all like I said I am not worried just wondering as ihavent seen my other leo do this. have a great day all

Haha! i only have one gecko who does that, but i think it might just be something quirky that some geckos do :) im pretty sure that geckos dont get their moisture from their skin though... but they do lick the condensation on the walls of humid hides from what i have seen. i hope this hhelps a little bit and hopefully others can chime in :)

btw: its spelled "urate" :D

LOL thank you so much for the spelling correction My spell check WOULD NOT pick it up man I wish I had my batteries in my camera or the cord to my phone to upload this photo cuz man its so cute I she is just snuggled in there. I had to move some of her moss I was scared that it wasgong to block her nose or something

i get paranoid like that too some times, but more so with my snakes then my geckos! one of my rosy boas is 34 years old and a little senile. she likes to take naps in her waterbowl occasionally, but when she is deep asleep she submerges her head, so i have to wake her up...
