My name is Bex, and while I'm not new to reptiles, I am new to geckos. I purchased my first Leopard gecko, Kashmir, on Valentine's Day this year, and our 2nd one, Pindi on March 7th. Kashmir was labeled as an adult, and internet guesses that he's a "Jungle", and Pindi is about 4" and supposedly a "Bandit".

Other than Kash and Pindi, I share my life with 58 Axolotls, 2 African Clawed frogs, 15 betta splendens and 1 Betta mahachai, guppies, platies, cories, 4 rabbits, a fiance and a preschooler. ;)

Welcome to the forum! We're glad you've joined the community!
That's quite the menagerie you've got there! 58 axolotls! Know any good axolotl forums?
Can't wait to see some photos of Pindi and Kashmir!

(I thought I replied to this yesterday, turns out I didn't... sorry about that!!)

Caudata.org has one, but I mostly stick to a friend's facebook group "Axolotl Land" for info.

We also have a new addition as of tonight. We ran to town to pick up small crickets for Pindi, and found a female house gecko with some nasty bites on her hip and her back. I felt awful for her, so we ended up bringing her home to join the crew. Thankfully, I decided to set up a planted terrarium a few days ago, and it was all nice and ready for her when we got home. I guess it was meant to be...

I attached photos of our gecko-beasties.

Cute geckos! Thanks for sharing! Also kudos for adopting the house gecko! I'm sure he'll be back to health ASAP
I like your enclosures! Lots to do to keep those geckos busy!

the poor little house was trying so hard to wedge herself into a piece of wood to hide. There was a huge male twice her size, and about 2-3 anoles, and a small herd of crickets running around in there.

Since she's been home and in the desk tank, she doesn't seem as frantic about hiding. She's hanging out on my Croton in the left hand corner there, and I'm hoping this means that she feels safe and secure.

A lot of the decor in the leo tanks is handmade by me, obvious exceptions are the wood, the fake plants themselves (made the bases) and the water dishes, well, and the t-rex wall thing in Pindi's tank. I made all of their hides myself though, as well as Kashmir's ruins. I really enjoyed making it all, and it actually saved me a lot of money this way too.

Nice setups! The homemade decor looks great! You should do a thread on how you made those; I'm sure a lot of people would be interested to learn.
