Hello my name is Codie, and i have a female crested gecko.

i may actually be acquiring a free male soon *crosses fingers*
Athena the gecko is my first reptile baby, i've always had dogs or cats lol


so my pets include:
Isis, (2 years old) the craiglist kitty, who thinks she is Juju and Mally's momma....
Juju, (1 year old) the bobtail bottle-fed feral kitten, who thinks she has to clean everyone....
O'Mally, (1 year old) the tailless bottle -fed feral kitten, who thinks he can make love to his sister....
Bandit, (11 years old) the austrailian cattle dog, who thinks he is a lap dog...
Prism, (???) the male betta
Athena, (???) the female gecko, who thinks she is a spy, she seriously will hide behind a leaf and watch me while i mess around in the kitchen...

so three rescue cats, a birthday present doggy, a rescue betta, and a petstore gecko.
the male will be coming from a breeder, he couldn't find buyers for them...

I got the adult male Sunday afternoon. he's so sweet. i named him Stixx, 1. because i like mythology, and 2. because he had a small splinter of the bark he was on stuck to his eye.
he had a little retained shed, so i left him in a small critter keeper, with moist towels and misted him every so often till he got it off. he stares at my little female like she's an alien though. lol (their cages are beside each other till i move rooms)

He actually bit me last night!!!! i was checking his back legs and boys parts to make sure the retained shed was all gone. When i turned him back around he bit the skin between my index and thumb!!!

I was actually afraid the smaller animals that jump and fly until a few years ago. Idk what it is, but i can't stand fancy mice on my shoulders, a trust VERY few fancy rats to be on my shoulders, and i cannot, absolutely no way can have the smaller birds on me.(especially my friends boy bird who is infatuated with me).

But strangely enough i love my gecko's and it doesn't even bother me when the jump on my face from my shoulder when i handle them. When Stixx bit me i laughed so hard i giggle snorted!!!
