:) Hi My name is Elisabeth and I just signed up on the forum. It is nice to meet everyone.
I am very new to the herp world. I went to my first reptile show in Sacremento a month ago. I work part time at a pet store and aquired my first leopard Gecko(a rescue) from a no longer interested child. The poor guy was missing the tips of a couple fingers. He had adhered sheds to all his fingers. I promptly began to read all I could on leopard geckos. He is now a fat and sassy little guy with all the leopard gecko essentials being provided for him.
I am very hooked on Leopard Geckos and all things Herp! I got funny looks from all my horse show friends when I told them the name of my new horse was Spider!:D

Thats hoe I got my first fer leo's. i used to work for a petco untill very recently. I pity their reptiles now ;)

Feel free to ask all the questions you want, people here... know stuff!

That's right even the petcos that I have to go to when waiting for the bi-monthly swap in the area. I find that even the people that think that they know what they are talking about don't. Now if I have to venture to a chain pet store I don't even listen to them. Welcome to the site, glad you enjoy herps as much as all of us and see you on the boards.:)

Yeah. the people at ***** look at me like I'm the idiot, and act like they know what they're talking about when they don't. They call their adult geckos "jumbo" geckos LOL

anyway, welcome to GeckoForums! My parents live about an hour away from Sacramento (in Lodi)

Yes I have been a member for 2 years.I was shocked to see my first post up. Thats okay it nice to be re-welcomed. I'm super shy about posting but I will say this forum is fantastic. I have found more help for my geckos on this site than any book I have read. I love this site even though I don't do alot of posting.
