Hi
I am new to geckos I just got an adult female leopard and a young juvenile leopard male...they are in different tanks until he matures. I did some studying and I hope I have it all right. I have placed slate in the bottom of both tanks one is 20 gallon and one is a 10 gallon. They both have UTH on 1/3 of each tank, drift wood, artificial plants, water dish, a cool hide and a moist hide and screen tops. A small dish of calcium and vitamin powder and a dish for mealworms and butter worms and I also feed crickets.
I already have in different terrariums a dumpy white tree frog, a tiger legged tree frog and a grass lizzard which I have had for awhile.
I am over fourty and just started into having these guys a year ago and am really enjoying them. I love the frogs but was looking for something that could be handled some and decided on the leos as they remain a size that works for me.
I plan on lurking on here and reading as much as I can to learn as much as I can about the leos.
I still have no names so if anyone has any suggestions that would be awesome!
I am located in Northern Ontario Canada and very happy I found this site as I do not know many people with leopards.
