Hey, I'm new here, and I've owned 4 Leopard Geckos before, but I had to give them away. But about 2 weeks ago, I was looking a animals at Petco, and I saw the Leos were on sale for $15.99. So I take one home, and I had already had the habitat set up.

I feed him/her mealworms, and I've given him/her 2 waxworms so far.

If you look at his belly, you will notice something that looks like a small white ball lodged in his stomach. I'm not exactly sure what it is, and I've tried searching for it, but I couldn't find anything. I'm already attached to this little guy. and I don't want to lose him. Petco had him on Calci-Sand, but there are no signs of impaction. He is defecating, and eating normally. He is properly hydrated, and is very active. Also, no stuck shed on him.

He is in a 20Gallon Long aquarium with slate tile, and a 60w Ceramic Heat Emitter for heat. The temperature on the Hot side is 91.5 degrees, and the cool side is about 76 degrees. He has 2 hides on the hot side, 2 on the cool side, and a moist hide. Also has a water & mealworm dish... ( I still need to go pickup calcium powder)

I gutload his mealworms with a healthy diet. He is handfed, but the dish is kept there anyways. I'm really worried about him.

I will have pictures up soon!

On the underside of a leo, the skin is translucuent and often shows odd colored spots that confuse us. Their guts show, in other words. Here are some anatomy photos that may help you understand http://geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=71169

So, I shouldn't really be worried? He seems fine to me... But he had a loose stool after I fed him a waxworm. I'm not too fond of that. :/
