Hi guys i just got 2 young geckos on Sunday at the Poughkeepsie civic center reptile expo last Sunday and my super dalmatian has some orange blisters on his left rear foot. His toes look messed up and I don't know if this guy came like this or this just happened. I've only handled him 2 other times and that was just to move him from one little tank to another and then this time when I noticed his foot because he was having trouble climbing up my arm so I inspected him/her.

He's having trouble climbing in genera, and two toes on that foot dont look great but he seems very calm and happy though. Maybe he's fine

Ok. I feel like an idiot. That blister was actually his food that he must've stepped in. Lol.
But, that aside, he still seems to have a lot of trouble climbing. Seems like all his hands aren't as sticky as the other gecko I have. And the two toes on that foot seem to have messed up joints. But I guess he's fine.

Sounds like it either more food that's dried on his feet or stuck shed. I had a similar issue with one of my first cresties and it turned out to be one of those two (not sure which) but it came off after a couple weeks of high humidity twice a day and a couple soaks. When they have stuck shed on their pads they don't stick well at all. I'd keep an eye on it either way. Hope it works out as well for you!!

Give him sauna bath. You put him on a Tupperware container with a lid, put paper towel in there and put a bit of Luke warm water in there. Leave him in there for a while. Or you can take a-tips dipped in water and rub his feet with it to help with anything.

If you do soak him just make sure the water is 70-80 degrees. They don't tolerate cold or warm temperatures well at all. Over 85 and you could cause a heat stroke and make things way worse.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll try giving him a bath for 5 or 10 minutes today. Maybe I'll get around to posting some pictures of these guys in a thread too.
