HELP! Carpet Beetles?

Okay, so Fred ate a cricket tonight (YAY!!) but, my husband noticed a larvae looking thing in with the crickets. Then noticed when he dropped the cricket in there was a beetle...which we've identified them as being carpet beetles. How they got in with the crickets is beyond me. There are carrots and bread in there...but again no idea how the carpet beetle would get in?

Anyway, I guess my question is, is this dangerous? I don't plan on feeding any more crickets from that container if this is a hazard for Fred. Because, well hell I"m just happy he ate something and hope he keeps this one down.

If those are the beetles I'm thinking of, cricket breeders typically have those in with the crickets as they will eat the dead crickets, they are safe to feed (larvae or beetle) IF it's the beetles I'm thinking of.

Will a picture help? I can get one online....That would make sense as to how they got in there.
