I have a leopard that just laid he eggs in her humid hide and it looks good so far. Unfortunately, as the title implies, the incubator did not arrive last week as expected. I keep the gecko in a rack that is a stable 84 degrees. Do you think I can leave it there till the incubator hopefully arrives early this week?

So upsetting as this is my first Leo eggs. :bigcry:

As long as you keep the eggs in a seal container with your incubation medium (vermiculite, pearlite et..) you should be ok. I would also monitor the temp inside the container, this will maybe allow you to move it around if the temp drops to low, or gets to high. Might take some work but you should be able to find a nice sweet spot. Is that 84 degrees the ambiant air temp or on the hot spot of the heat tape/pad?

If 84 is the ambient then you can just put it in the cage in a sealed container with a medium.
