my gecko has just layed two eggs and i was wonderi9ng if i should put them into vermiculate and place them in the incubator

first time breeder

so plz hurry

be sure to mark the top of them with a sharpie so they dont get rolled around, otherwise the embryo can drown. there are lots of threads and google links on how to properly care for eggs. check a few of them out and that should answer most questions you have about incubating them. good luck!

well right now they are in a tupaware container with vermiculate and have not been touched. Can i just take out the container and put it in the incubater

o ok, it has a top there is just a big hole in it( for her to get in to lay eggs) the vermiculate is a little damp

put the eggs in a different container as im sure your gal will still want her moist hide in her tank while the eggs are incubating. :)

Not only that but she'll most like lay another clutch before those hatch.

yeah, these forums are great for getting answers from experienced keepers, you will get the odd cold comment form people who think they know everything but you get them everywhere no matter what animal but 99/100 people here just want to help :) i hope your eggs are ok

thnx everyone there in the incubator and there at 86. I hope there ok, first ttime female laid 2 eggs so im happy
