I just need help before I got to Wal-Mart. I am going to get ingredients for Marcia's slurry recipe, has anyone ever used a different type of dog food in it? Just wondering because I would like to feed it tonight and there are no vets open. Marcia's not online now either. So, quick response would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks so much!

I just responded to your PM. The recipe calls for Hill's AD, which is a veterinary prescription food that is designed for anorexic animals. It is high in nutients and calories, and is made of pasteruized, easily digested meat products. Usually, you can pick up a can at most vet clinics without a prescription.
