HELP Geckos Fighting =(

Hi Guys

i have had my geckos for a year in febuary and they have always been fine in the same tank, one is male and one is female

last march/april i noticed he was being a bit rough with her (biting and holding her neck) shortly after she laid eggs

this morning i was woken up the sound of struggle and it is obvious he has been roughing her up again, she has a small sign of blood on top of her head but besides that shes fine

should i seperate them? or are they breeding again? or is it too early

He could be trying to mate with her again, check the female for signs of ovulation, if not he may be ready and she isn't so he will keep pesting her, ifyou don't want eggs seperate the two for the breeding season.

it could also be that he wants to mate, but she's rejecting him, so thats why they're fighting. i would separate them for a while.

Anytime you see blood it is time to seperate. That is a sign of mating though.
