Okay I was gone for three weeks, and my mom was feeding my geckos, she was feeding Crickets, mealies, and supers, well I have been home for 3 days, and just now noticed that my MSS little guy had a little scrap/cut on the top of his head next to his eye, I was thinking maybe my mom accidently left a cricket in there maybe, or is it possible that he scrapped his head on his hide box? it is made out of like a deli cup, only bigger, with a whole in it, that edges, aren't very sharp at all, but I can't think of anything else it coudl be, he is in his tank alone.

Should I put medicine on it? What should I put on it? Should I just keep an eye on it? it doesn't look that bad, and it is hard to see it, but I saw it, like I said it kinda looks like a scrap not a bite or cut.

Oh yeah for the past week actually he has jut been fed mealies and supers, with mealies being in a bowl for 24/7 access if this helps any...

Thanks for the help

Was he shedding recently? Is he housed with other geckos? If it looks like a minor scrape, just leave it alone. If it is raw or bleeding, go ahead and put some Neosporin or Polymycin on it... it should heal right up!

I am not sure like I said I was only home for 3 days although I think my mom said he shed the day before I got home, he is housed alone, and yes it looks minor to me, but I dont want it to turn into something bad, if it isn't treated, like I said it looks like a little scrape, and it isn't bloody, or raw, it is hard to explain, you can tell it is a scrape, and it isn't scabbed over, but just open, if that makes sense....
