HELP!!! I found eggs

One of our little rescued geckos laid eggs today! I don't have my females and males together yet so I thought i had a few weeks to order my hovabator and I didn't. I have the eggs ( both white and plump at this moment) in a plastic container with vermiculite/water mix. Moist but not soaking wet. I have them under a heat light and the temps have stayed at 83.8-84.4 degrees and 63% humidity. Will they be ok until I can get a hovabator ordered and delivered??? .I realize that I may loose these first eggs but I really want to do everything I can to give them a chance to survive.

They should be fine! As long as the temps stay like that and don't fluctuate. Eggs are pretty hardy. Just make sure you don't turn them over or the gecko inside can drown. Good Luck!

Thats just about what I did when I got my first eggs. They will be fine untill it arrives. Also congrats

Thank you so much. We have checked the temps every 15 minutes since we found them last night and the most they have fluctuated is .5 degrees. I marked them as soon as we found them with an acid free pen ( I know silly but i wasn't sure if ink can soak into the egg and hurt the gecko). I used a spoon to gently pick them up and place them in the vermiculite. The humidity levels are 85% to 90%in the container...is that too high? I made sure that the vermiculite was like snow ball consistancy and it fell aprt when i let it go. I have read and reread all the posts on eggs but when I found them ahead of schedule, I kind of stressed. Thanks for the info. I just hope that my first little ones make it ok. I should have my hovabator in 7-10 days.

I ordered my Hovabator today and it should be here in 5 days. Is there anything special that I need to do to it before I put the eggs in? I was figuring on having a month to get one and get it figured out before I started to put my males and females together.
