Help, I lost my leopard gecko!

My leopard gecko got out. He was in my basement and I checked under the refrigerator there and the furnace, under the recliner and in the room beside and the washroom. There is a crack beside the fridge, and when I moved the fridge and shun a flashlight in there, nothing. The crack is 4 feet to 5 feet and is it possible he is in there? Also, the stairs leading upstairs are hardwood, would he be able to climb that? My leopard gecko is about 10 months years old. Also what tricks should I use and where should I look? Would he be able to get into the heat vents?

Also, I lost him yesterday and I set up a dish of worms and a warm blanket along a with his hide, but nothing. I don't have any clue where he is, no poop or urates.
