Recently bought this gecko as a "Mack Snow Raptor" It was a great price so i just bought no questions asked. But after getting it home its striped pattern keeps sticking out to me. Kinda looks like a few pics of a albino super snow ive seen. Thoughts from anyone here.???

She does have solid eyes. they look black but are actually red.

Picked this other guy up at the same time. He was sold as a raptor. i do think this one is correct. Same solid eyes etc.. But any opinion on him would be great. I like having others opinions ,never take what is sold at face value unless proven genetics

Thanks in advance!!

The one labeled as a snow raptor is likely correct, and it just has a striped appearance. Most Super raptors are nearly pink because of the combination of genes at play, leaving very faint visual patterning.

Depending on the source of the animals, you can likely still contact the seller and inquire about parental information as well, so you have a better idea in regards to their lineage.

Mack raptors can sometimes be hard to id. Verify the genetics of the parents, too. I see the white nose of the first, so it's definitely raptor. Could be a snow, but I can't say for sure. If you trust the seller, then I would say it is.

First one looks like it could be a super snow raptor and the second one looks like it could be a raptor. I'm going by the white nose that Kristi mentioned seeing with the first one too.

The first one does have the lines similar to a super snow, so that is very possible. I agree with Lisa. If you could get baby pics, that would help. Also the pairings that produced them.

Most SS have a different head and snout structure (IMO) which I don't see here. So just from these images I would say it is not a SS and likely is a Snow RAPTOR.

Thanks for the replys all. I guess i trust the fact that it indeed is a snow raptor. Its striped aperance just seems odd to me, But im far from pro, and maybe its far more common than i know. I will try and get ahold of seller but since it was a craigs list deal im not counting on much to come from it. So im just going with "mack snow raptor" Time will tell i guess. next season i do plan on breeding her.
