Hi!
I was given a gecko yesterday, to replace mine that died last weekend.
I prefer fat-tails but since this little leo was a gift, (not to mention adorable)
I couldn't refuse. I've never seen a leo this dark before, can anyone help me out with what morph she might be? She's really small compared to my fat-tailed that just died but I'm not 100% sure how old she is so maybe she'll get bigger....

(I hope that pic worked, I'm new at this)
Thanks in advance!

Maybe you could try to get a clearer pic? It looks like a normal to me as well but a better pic would help :) Where did you get her from?

1. As they said change substrate into something like paper towel or newspaper to prevent impaction just incase.

2. As the others said too ... Hmm I'm not sure but it does look like a very dark normal to me.

That was at her previous owners place, I don't have her on sand. I got her from my "aunt-in-law" lol - if there is such a thing. Her daughter got it somewhere and moved home for a while, then when she moved back out, she left this little lady there. Anyways, her original origins are unknown, the daughter was giving the gecko from some other person, and where THEY bought her from is unknown. All this took place within a year and a half, everyone estimates that's she's only about 2... but I can't say for sure. She's pretty small, I haven't measured her yet, but she's nearly half of our other leo, and he's about 10 inches.
I have another pic to upload but it's still from my phone camera though so perhaps not much clearer.
Thanks for looking though.

As you can see I don't have her on sand.
I guess it's still too blurry. I'll get my other camera out tonight to get a decent picture. I didn't realize normals get so dark. But I have been researching and I guess it depends on incubation temps or something?

Is this one any clearer? I gave her a bath this morning - she molted last night and missed a piece or two.
