Help - Leopard gecko laid eggs in water

They probably were not fertile, if laid in the water dish. But re-evalute the area you have for her to lay in, because she will lay more in about 2 weeks. Make sure she can dig in it, that its moist but not too wet, and its not too hot or cold. I like to give my girls choices, so I usually have 2 possible chambers available. Plus I keep multiple leos together, and most dont like to be disturbed when they are ready to lay.

Yes usually if they are laid in the water or any where other than the hide box they are generally infertile. Any fertile eggs laid in the water generally go bad very quickly though.
