HELP my Gecko escaped .

Right now he is some place in my closet . He is a house Gecko . What should I do.

put a dish with his favorite food out at night, he may be attracted to it, and if you stay up late enough, you may find him...or just put his food in a container or large hide, and he may jsut stay there. Let me know what happens please.

I was trying feed him to say and he just zipped out . And he was just to fast. But I would put a dish out there . Dang it something really different than keeping other harps .

Ahh well I really hope he shows up...which he will! But like I said, keep me informed.

seal any exits in the room leave the room for awhile check every half hour the dish of food doesn`t work for house geckos and I reccomened geting a net and if he/she doesnt turn up soon don`t worry I had one loose for 2 weeks then found him so don`t worry, they like to go out in dark areas so keep all the lights off then go in with a net and if you dont find it on the wall or ceiling then just leave and check back later.

hope you find him.

Nothing.. :( I can't believe this happen . I have been keeping herps for years, and I lose one like this ? Hope he got out of the house .. and is not in a corner of the house hungry and scared .

I am sorry for your loss. There is still some hope though. It must be hard getting over this, but you can pull through it!

Don't give up yet. I once found a White's Tree Frog that had been missing for over 8 months, and she was just fine. He may show up yet.
