yesterday I noticed my gecko had a gunk fulled, closed eye. He was not eating for some time now as-well, but this is the first time I spotted his eye. He used to eat so many worms I had to put him on a diet. But now he wont eat anything and his eye is closed with stuff in it.

We have no reptile vet here, but I went to my small animal vet and got some antibiotic eye drops, I just started them today. I also mixed some turkey baby food that I mixed with water and vitimans/calcium and he licked some off of his nose, but he wont eat any worms...

is there anything I can do?

I'm sorry about your gecko! It good that you took him to a small animal vet, however have you checked if there are
reptile vets available in another town that you can take him to? If you post a picture, maybe leo owners who have had similar problems can help you out with your little guy. Could it be stuck shed in his eyes? Have the eye drops helped him? Is he still licking off the mix you provide him?

I really hope he gets better :). Otherwise I would travel to some area that has reptile vets asap. Keep us updated!

Its a good thing that you got antibiotic eye drops. My Leo had some eye issues and my vet told me to use Q-tips and saline(contact solution) WITHOUT any special additives ie. stuff for moisture or w/e human people need. Do a saline wash where you wet Q-tips and very gently rub the eye area. You can also squirt some of the saline in the eye. This will help moisten the eye and remove any foreign matter.

For food my vet actually suggested a fruit flavored baby food. He said something about them being able to smell it better. If your leo likes your baby food mixture though the turkey shouldn't hurt.

Also where are you located, I'm sure we could locate a vet you could look into visiting.
