HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

Today I was giving my leopard gecko a bath to help his shedding and all of a sudden he started making hiccupping noises and it looks like he was struggling for air....then the noises stopped but i still felt it in his body like he was gasping for air..his breathing is kind of rapid then slow then rapid then slow. I looked it up online and saw it could be an upper respiratory infection....so I put him back in the tank with a higher wattage bulb...I don't know what to do..please help!? He is currently laying on top of one of the humid hides.

It could be a respiratory infection or is it possible he aspirated some water in the bath? Regardless, if his breathing doesn't improve soon, you'll probably need to contact a vet.

Definately look into a vet like what was said before, and keep a close eye on your boy! Good luck, and I hope that this just passes through your gecko without any trouble!
