I dont know where my camera is so I cant take a picture.

One of my hatchlings is having problems shedding. I'm keeping an eyes on it and helping when i can. yesterday i noticed something. The very tip of its tail is shriviling up, and the underside of his tail is looking red. I'm a very worried dad. Any idea what it would be?

Could it be thermal burns? Have you check if there are any particularly hot spot in the tank?

That was my first guess. I'd check your temps with a digital therm. or a temp gun to make sure everything is ok.

You mentioned shed problems...once you rule out thermal burns, check to see if there is shed stuck on the tail. Old shed can constrict (as it won't grow with the gecko) and cause an eventual loss of the tail.
