Hello all!
I'm still kinda new to this forum and was wondering if you folks could give me a hand. My young leo has started to develop some discolouration on the top of her head. She is housed with another female so it might be from her, or maybe just a scratch? Or cricket bite?
This is my first time adding pictures... I hope it works!
Any input is appreciated! :D

From my limited experience it looks like shed starting to flake off, does she have a warm humid hide? Also try giving her a warm bath.... :D:main_thumbsup:

She does have a warm humid hide, but I hardly see her in it. I was thinking of shed, but it seemed to look different then usual. Maybe I will draw her a nice bath =)
Thanks.

I hope I'm just jumping the gun and it is just shed. I made the mistake of looking at diseases and things that can go wrong with your leos then went and checked mine and saw this on Luna.... Make me slightly paranoid!

Soak your gecko in luke warm water for 5-10 minutes and see if Its stuck shed. That's what it looks like. Does it look like stuck shed because it's not really that hard to tell in person.

I'd definitely lean toward it being as simple as some stuck shed. Sometimes they retain small flakes, especially if they've had any skin damage in that area before. Soak her, wait and see, watch her to see if it is irritating her. If all signs point to a normal happy gecko, then I'd leave her be, if not, take her to the vet.
