A good start is to make sure his habitat has a humid area to help shedding. If you do not have a humid hide, I suggest getting one to help with future sheds.
For eyes, usually it's best to get some pure saline and use it on the eyes to help soften up the stuck shed and wash them out.
As mentioned, it is sometimes necessary to see a vet if stuck eye caps won't come out or if they get infected. Hopefully, a bit of moisture and saline wash will help before it gets to that point.
