help with breeding

hey guys i have a couple of leos that i wanna breed, they re full grown now, the female is 50+ grams, nice and fat. they were kept together since the male was mid age but never bred, now that i think its breeding season my female isnt gravid yet, i just separated them yesterday, what do i do to induce breeding?

She very well could be gravid, but just not showing yet... Search the forum for ''ovulating pic'' to see how to tell whether she is or not...

i couldnt find the picture, can someone tell me what to do to induce breeding or to tell me how to know if my female is ovulating?

Alex first we need to find out if she is gravid or ovulating. Hope this helps.

ok here is a picture i just took from my female's abdomen, you tell me if she is ovulating or not and if not, what to do...

What I do is lower the lighting or turn off the lights and then put a tiny LED booklight alongside the female's abdomen. You can see their insides a great deal more easily. Some of my geckos' bellies are less translucent than others, so the LED in low ambient light helps a lot when checking out ones that are difficult to judge.

From the photos she doesn't look like she's gravid. She might be ovulating but I'm not 100% sure with those photos. Has her appetite changed?
