Could you please tell me if this looks like a Mack snow or just a light normal?

it's hard to tell. With all the yellowing it looks more like a pastel. I forgot to mention earlier: You could try comparing it's appearance to pictures of other morphs.

What was it sold to you as?

That's also an interesting tail kink. It makes the tail tip look a little like a question mark. :)

Unless you have reason to think otherwise, I'd have to say it is normal.
Do you have any history on the animal? Like what the parents were, where it was purchased or who produced it?

Without anything else to go on, I'd consider it a normal.

Yea i actually do agree it could be a normal or what they call a Pastel like mentioned above. Like i said before you can only prove it is mack by breeding.

Like Jeremy stated, do you have any inormation on this gecko's parents? Where did this gecko come from?

To me, it looks like it could be a pastel/normal. It has a pretty serious tail-kink, too.

Now is the tail kink anything that can cause problems. I have seen that in a couple of post before.

Sometimes leos with kinks that are bred produce hatchlings with kinks as well. In other words, a tail kink is an undesirable trait, and therefore many debates have occurred whether or not a leo with a tail kink should be bred.

I wouldn't say myself that it would cause harmful problems, but when trying to produce ideal offspring it can be seen as a negative feature. That's why you don't see many leos with tail kinks being bred at all, also this effects their pricing in some cases.

In truth, the opinion varies from individual breeder to individual breeder.

That kink reminds me of a fool I know well who kinked a SSTA tail putting it into a deli cup hastily. I promise I will never do it again ;)

He's such a cool gecko too, but he's a breeder/ pet now.

Really need more info on him.He could be one of meny.mack snow, line bred snow, pastel.Even (fasciolatus) or (fasciolatus 1st gen hybrid) these would be quite possible if you euro based but less likly but not impossible if your US based.

Hes very nice though.

Hi guys,

Thank you very much for all your answers, I will try to get more info and post it, but it's going to be quite difficult as people here (I don't know why) don't keep breeding records.

I will be back with more info

Thanks guys
