Help with my first crested please?

I need help on keeping the tank warm enough. I have an UTH and a light that I use, but the air temperature is always 68-69 F while the bottom/substrate temp is usually at 70 F. Any ideas on raising this 2-3 more degrees?

My other problem is keeping the tank humid... It stays humid for around 3-4 hours, but then it starts to dry out. If I leave the light on for the tank, I always make it really dim. I also tried damp wash cloths on top of the lid, which helps to an extent... I really need this figured out because I work later this week, so I can't run home to spray the tank. So, any ideas on the humidity too?

Thanks!

Your temps seem fine. Most of the time you dont even need any supplemental heat (ie: lightbulbs, or heat pad) as long as your house temps stay approximately within the 65-80 range. If you give a good misting in the AM and the PM, you should be fine. Also supplying a water dish and a humid hide, with some eco earth or sphagnum moss, may help if you dont already do so. That way your crestie can go into the humid hide if the enclosures humidity drops below what he feels is comfortable.
