I was wondering what a punnet square for some of the complex morph combos would look like. How does one set up a square for a pair like this;

One Co-dom trait
Mack Snow Eclipse 100% het Raptor x Tangerine Enigma 100% het Raptor

Or for a pair with co-dom traits
Giant Mack Snow het Raptor x Giant Raptor.

The normal Dominate and recessive traits are easy to setup, but the Co-dom traits really lose me. I just need an example to see how it works and I will be very happy :main_yes:

Thanks for your help.

Just set it up the same way-

Let's take Giant to be G, Snow to to S, Raptor to be T (tremper) and E (eclipse), and since we already used E for eclipse we'll use N for Engima.

And XX= homozygous, Xx= Het, xx= no genes

Mack Snow Eclipse het Raptor = = Mack Snow Eclipse het Tremper = SsEETt - Ss since Mack Snow is Codom Snow het, EE because it is homozygous for eclipse, and Tt because it is het tremper.

Tangerine Enigma het Raptor = NnTtEe - Since tangs are polygenic we don't show in the punnet square, they all will have some varying tang influence. Nn becuase we assume its just het since it's dominant, Tt and Ee because it is het Raptor.

so we have SsEETt x NnTtEe , but i like to normalize for all genes so this becomes- nnSsEETt x NnssEeTt and you just carry on like normal. If you get SS that is a Super Snow, and Ss is a mack snow.

for the second pairing- its GgSsTtEe x GgTeEe or GgSsTtEe x GgssTtEe. then GG is Super Giant, Gg is Giant, and gg is normal.

Hope that helped. Feel free to pm me.
