I have been told that this guy came from a colony blood line that was produced by the Bell's I understand that it is not the typical Albino that the Bell's are famous for but what would it be considered if anyone has a guess. The breeder I purchased it from also has a breeding colony from the Mack's as well. I keep getting told I can not call this a Bell Snow because he isn't albino but if the Morph was created by the Bell's wouldn't it be a Bell Snow?

It is just a snow. If it dosnt show the albino trait, then it isnt an albino. If either parents where bell albino, it would be HET bell albino.

In the trade a "Bell Snow" would be a Bell albino snow. The name of the person who produced it is irrelevant to what the genetics are. Me for example I have lots of Bell Albinos produced by me but theyre not called Kent albinos just because I produced them. The term "Bell" is the name givien to that specific gene (morph). Just so happens that this gene was found by and named by Mr. Bell. Had he decided to call it a caramel albino than that would have been the morph name. And every other animal with those genes would be called caramels, regardless of who produces them from then on. In other words, its the genes the animal has that gives it its "morph name" (for lack of a better term), not who produced it.

Hope that clears it up for you a little.

What you have is a snow leopard gecko that was apparently produced by Mr. Bell. Putting the name Bell in front of it infers that its a Bell Albino, which it is not.
