So i got the one in best condition, he had a nice fat tail. So i put him in with my female so hopefully they are gonna mate they get along great their always curled up together, ANYWAYS Do you guys have any idea what morph she is? IM003300.jpg

I would never put a gecko I just got in with my older geckos, double so if they ones in the cage was in poor health.. They could have crypto or ohter nastys.. I also would not put a stressed gecko in with a older one until it was close to the same size.. The one in the picture looks like a hypo.

They still have their jevenile banding and white necks, so either way they are to young to breed. They should be at least 55 grams before you even consider breeding. If they breed when they are too small, males are very likely to prolapse which usually requres expensive procedures at the vet to fix. Females can become eggbound and die if they are too little.

Do you even have an incubator? Do you know their genetics? Where would you go to sell the babies? Can you afford vet bills for over twenty babies? Or housing, food, and care for all of them? Breeding isn't something you should take lightly by throwing together two very young geckos who were never quarentined (which can kill both your geckos if one happens too have crypto. By the way crypto geckos usually don't survive), and hope that she lays eggs. How would you feel if she became eggbound and you had to put her through a very expensive surgery with low survival rates just because you thought it might be fun to breed them?

Again, those geckos are way to small, and could possibly DIE if you continue this. I hope you understand that and seperate them like you should. I think pretty much everyone on this forum would agree. I don't mean to be harsh, but I am very concerned for your gecko's lives, and I don't want you to lose any of your sweet little geckos due to a not-thought-out idea. I really hope you consider this, and do tons of research and enjoy your geckos for more then a year before you decide to breed.

I have heard of people keeping them together and they DONT fight so, And mine dont fight there is no sign of dominance or bullying. And i have done research and i know they are too small i just put them in there until i can get another tank. We also thought out the breeding idea because we were thinking about starting a business Selling reptiles, Im not stupid i have done my research.

She's not saying your stupid. She is saying if the animal is sick it could spread and potentially kill both animals. You should never put a new potentially sick animal with a healthy one. She is also right in saying not to keep a male and female that are not breeding together. It dose not matter how old they are if they d side to breed they are going to no matter there health. It can kill your female if she produces eggs and she is not at the right weight. Take the advice or leave it when it comes down to it if you keep them together you may kill them. It had noting to do with them being aggressive with each other there was nothing said about it. So in the end there is really nothing we can say that will make you do the right thing if you don't want to. So I hope for your animals some magic happens and they come out fine.
