Hey guys, I now know what I'm doing with my tank, for the most part. At first i was going to keep it vertical with a floor space of 36" long and 15" wide. But i just thought of this; laying the tank horizontally so the floor space is now 36" long by 29" wide. But the thing is, once i do that, I'll have to have a 7" hole cut on the top to put a CHE so it's not directly on glass. And i also have to do something with the open side that was the top. I was thinking either little sliding glass doors or hinged doors. Which would be cheaper and where could i get the parts?
And the side that is the top now(picture 3) has that blue paint on it. Should i take it off or leave it on for the leo's security? As of my idea right now, all sides except where the door is will be covered with a foam background.

The site says my pics are too big so i have a dropbox link to them:

the first picture shows where i would want the slide door/ hinged door
the second is the back
3. the top; this is where i'd need to cut out the hole for the light.
4. dont mind this one
5. This is the lid on it now. I guess i could use it but its inconvenient to clean, feed, etc.
