Welcome!

I only feed waxworms, once or twice a week if that.

I only give each gecko 1 or 2 never leave them in a bowl, they will become addicited and may not take any other food.

If you want a food to leave in the bowls for them try mealworms, much better. ;)

if you buy mealworms from a real supplier they do not have the wood shavings, try grubco, reptilefood etc. You can buy 1000 for about $10 and they would last you longer than buying those nasty pet store cups for $3 for 50 worms in wood shavings.

I in no way mean to be rude here...but your response was a little rude

To answer your question...pick them out. I make sure to get all the little pieces of the wood flakes off the mealies before I put them in the dish

And wax worms should only be fed as a treat, not a main staple to the diet

I was sure to use the word -someone- as apposed to directing the comment with the word -you- we are here for advice and information regarding leopard geckos. NOT opinions on posts.....not to be rude:main_thumbsup:

So what happens if they will only eat waxworm what should i do ween them off of them? Because if the there not good for them all the time i have been giving them way to much then. Maby thats why my female are so fat. But i like them fat around breeding season. The fatter the better because egg layying is the hardest thing on them what do you guys think???? (JoHn)
